Non-financial mechanism / Activities

The non-financial mechanism aims to develop LINK EECA (Learning and Innovation Network for Eastern Europe and Central Asia) by providing continuous learning, mentoring, and peer exchange through digital support.

Key activities include: needs assessments, rapid capacity scans, tailored trainings, and networking opportunities. The multi-language Hive Mind platform offers self-paced courses and resources on digital resilience, disinformation, media literacy, digital security, and online campaigning.

LINK EECA components:

  • Digital Learning: Five thematic training cohorts based on mapping results.
  • Peer Exchange: Secure online community for collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Expert Mentorship: 150+ certified trainers offering consultations and group sessions.

In October 2026, the annual MEGAPHONE unconference in Skopje will gather 100 activists, CSO professionals, and journalists to build skills, knowledge, and a sense of shared purpose.
